Our five Book Groups meet the last week of the month, September through June. Members determine the book selections three to four months in advance to allow flexibility for new titles to be considered. Meetings are generally an hour and a half long and the start times for the different groups range between 3pm and 5pm. Titles are usually nonfiction, focusing on issues or people of interest to our liberal minded members. The facilitated discussions are lively and meaningful.
In order to register for a meeting, you must be a member of the book club. To become a member of the book club, please click here to contact the book group coordinator. She will assign you to one of our current five groups based upon space availability. Once you are a member, you will be given access to register on the website for the meeting of the section to which you have been assigned. Registration is required for each month’s meeting.
You may also contact the book group coordinator with any other questions you may have.

Book of the Month
September Book of the Month
Long before the upheaval of the past two decades, Akerlof warned of flaws in modern economic thinking; then Yellen had to fix the economy on the fly as it cracked. What emerges is an absorbing examination of how humans think and behave, and how those actions shape markets, inform economic policy, and could determine the future of a now-deeply divided nation.
