HISTORIC MITCHELVILLE FREEDOM PARK TOUR II

Join us for a guided tour of Historic Mitchelville Freedom Park (“HMFP”) led by Executive Director Ahmad Ward. Mitchelville is the first self-governed town of formerly enslaved people in the United States and holds a profound and significant place in American History. Mr. Ward ill be joined by anthropological archaeologist, Katie Seebe, who will provide an update on an archaeology project being conducted in the area. It should be a very interesting day.

The tour begins at 10:00 am. Participants are asked to arrive 15 minutes early. We will meet by the big Oak tree where the benches are located. Wear comfortable shoes and bring bug spray as we will be walking throughout the grounds. . 

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Cancellations made 3 days or more in advance of the event date will be refunded. Cancellations made less than 3 days before the event will receive a credit for a future special event.  NO SHOWS are not refundable
