Redistricting in South Carolina: Close-up on the Coast

Shayna Howell is the Co-Chair of the League of Women Voters of South Carolina's Redistricting Workgroup. The workgroup is charged with coordinating efforts across South Carolina's local leagues, as they work to make sure voters in our state get the fair maps, they deserve in 2021. She also serves as the VP of Communications for LWV Charleston Area. Shayna has a BA in Anthropology and a master’s in public administration from the College of Charleston, and she is also a Riley Fellow. Outside of wrangling people into detailed public policy discussions, she loves to hang out with her husband, two kids, and two dogs, and enjoy the outdoors in Folly Beach, SC.
