Liberal Ladies traveled to the International African American Museum in Charleston and enjoyed lunch at Hyman’s Seafood. The following day, many participated in a walking tour of "The Lost Stories of Black Charleston", led by Professor Damon Fordham.

Salty Dog Moon Rise Cruise We did some serious moon gazing and toured the Calibogue sound on the 63' powered catamaran with upper and lower decks !

Field Trip to Historic Beaufort: Learn about the Lowcountry's role in the Civil War and post war Reconstruction Era. We enjoyed a docent led tour of the Beaufort History Museum along with a walking tour of Historic Beaufort, followed by lunch at the Wren Bistro.

“The LLLC Meet and Greet at Giuseppi’s was a breath of fresh air for me. Finally, after 3 years in Hilton Head, I met a group of like-minded women who were welcoming and enthusiastic. After joining the Liberal Ladies a year and a half ago, I continue to look forward to sharing my views and ideas as well as becoming better informed through the luncheon speakers and fellow members. It is a privilege for me to count myself as one of the Liberal Ladies.”
